Who we are

After years of building renewable energy and critical infrastructure projects across Pakistan and the GCC, one thing became impossible to ignore. The world's infrastructure was evolving rapidly, but the software used to monitor and control it was not. Systems were expensive, closed, and built around vendor limitations rather than operational needs.

We believed there had to be a better way.

What began as a conversation became a shared conviction. It was clear this was not just an energy problem. The same limitations existed across telecom, industrial operations, and other mission-critical sectors. Every operator was working around software that was never designed for them.

That conviction led to the formation of NeoTAQ. Co-founders based in San Diego, California joined with pre-seed investment and engineering support, driven by the same belief that critical infrastructure deserved better software. Together we set out to build an open, vendor-agnostic platform for the next generation of distributed infrastructure.

Today, headquartered in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, NeoTAQ serves energy, telecom and industrial teams across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Afghanistan. We are a small, hands-on team of engineers who have worked in the field. We built what we wish had existed.

On the ground, NeoTAQ has active deployments in Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Karachi, Abu Dhabi and Kabul, with hardware in the field across Pakistan, the UAE and Afghanistan. The platform is designed for expansion across MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa.
